We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Yiara and if you’re thinking of doing loads more research, save your time, and just book here! We booked the room with a large terrace, sofas, whirlpool bath and loungers as it was our honeymoon. The room was large, spacious and very clean. Great working aircon and a well stocked mini bar/fridge (chargeable). The hotel set higher up in Positano, but this didn’t affect us at all. My husband had a broken foot, so we only climbed the stairs once and got the local internal Positano bus thereafter, which is great and goes from outside the hotel down to the main local square. We used the portering service at the port, took our luggage up to the villa and we also used this on our departure. The system worked really well. The hotel quotes 10 euros per luggage, but on arrival the porters were very insistent the amount had gone up to 15 euros per luggage. It’s still worth every penny though, so use it! We ate near the hotel a few times and can highly recommend C’era Una Volta for a very well cooked and delicious local meal. It was very good value, not fancy, just good honest Italian food. We ate there twice it was so good and is worth booking, as people were getting turned away. We also ate at Luna, which is an absolute hidden gem and I cannot understand why it doesn’t get more reviews and wasn’t busier. It was without a doubt, the best meal we had during our 10 day trip around Italy. We had the Luca tasting menu and needed rolling out of the restaurant at the end! It’s worth leaving room however for the incredible breakfast Villa Yiara provide every day. It is delicious and massive and delivered to your room every day. We didn’t need to eat until dinner! Thank you for having us, we just wish we could have stayed longer.

This was a first time visit to Positano, and indeed a first time in an apartment, we always stay in top level hotels as a norm. The whole experience was absolutely outstanding. The location, view, cleanliness, amenities, staff and the service quite simply put......could not have been better!!!! Imara and her team were the epitome of what exceptional service is defined as being. She was always available, always helpful and cold not do enough for us, not that we asked for a great deal, it wasn't needed. On our final day it was my wife's birthday, we hadn't made Imara aware of this, as we weren't looking for anything special to be done, but somehow, and i assume from the passport details, Imara found this out. At 8am that morning the door bell rang and there stood a member of staff with the most delightful champagne breakfast, pastries, fruits, etc, and a hand written note from Imara wishing my wife happy birthday. This typified the fine little details that Imara and her team took note of. Believe me when i say that we have travelled far and wide, stayed at some of the best hotels in the world, and of course the level of service has been outstanding at many of them, but in a small coastal town in Italy we found that size and reputation does not mean excellence is exclusive to the bright lights and statue of the residence, but more than ever it relies on the nature of the people providing the service, and on this you will find no better example than Imara at the Villa Yaira.

Villa Yiara is absolutely breathtaking! The most gorgeous hotel I have ever stayed in. Nothing compares to how stunning the room, hotel, view, and service is. The attention to detail was impeccable. They truly go above and beyond for every guest. Highly recommend! My partner and I stayed for 4 days and we didn’t want to leave. If we didn’t have to go back home for work we would have extended our trip. Out of this world! The owner is truly the most lovely lady! She thought of everything and had everything we could possibly need. Made all of our reservations for us, got us front row loungers on the beach and even helped track down a missing gift that we left in our rental car.

This beautiful boutique hotel was very central location , well maintained the owner and staff were super helpful and very willing to please always!! If you choose to stay here like anywhere in smaller towns in italy its lots of walking and stairs .There are beaches close by the hotel provides towel and beach bag .If you choose option on breakfast included its a beautiful personalized breakfast that is brought to your room by staff. Pictures on website are very true to the way it looks inside and out .Reach out to them for arrangements to get there by taxi or boat they are very helpful .

Everything is great! A very unique place. Definitely stay here. Staff are amazing. So helpful, from recommendations to booking restaurants and even beds on the beach. Breakfast in the room is so special and delicious. The property is designed so amazingly, the views are tremendous. Yes a bit of a walk from the centre but so worth it. It is impeccably clean and so well presented. It is more than other places in same area but there is a reason for that. A very special place. Our room was so spacious. We did not want to leave, and we will be back!
